Pacific Colors Route
This route is designed to showcase the different ecosystems that make up Christmas Island, where the transition from our low deciduous forest, our Ramsar site, and the coastal areas demonstrate the changes in our flora, fauna, and landscapes, as well as the wide range of colors seen among the birds, reptiles, mammals, insects, and plants. Along this route, we’ll discover the best spots for nature photography, hiking, or, if you prefer, we can explore up to 9 km of the property on Safari. The route is designed to last from 3:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with varying levels of intensity. It’s a great spot for birdwatching beginners and nature photographers, as the presence of birds is easy to spot. It’s also perfect for expanding your birdwatching and lifer lists, as we have recorded 182 bird species.
